Vegetable Garden Update

My water bill is high, but I am keeping the vegetable garden growing. No tomatoes yet, though!

And the corn, as they say, is knee high by the 4th of July!

That there corn is about double the height of mine, though the tomatoes don\’t look too different.

Never did get warm enough to plant the squash or cucumbers.

Tough year here in the Pacific Northwest. They\’re saying the snow may not melt at all up in some parts of the Cascades.

The garden is looking lovely! I plan on doing some corn next year. You wouldn’t beleive the growing season we are having for corn around here… twice as high as normal, I have been kicking myself for not planting some for months.

Don’t give up hope on the tomatoes. It might take some extra time to attract pollinators. Maybe try shaking the plants a bit when you notice flowers. Thats what I do with my potted tomatoes and have had success.

Best of luck. Love the pictures!
