“Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”

— Tennyson

I still love Tennyson’s poetry. Always have.

  1. Berial says:

    Did you ever watch Babylon 5? The first Commander of the station loved Tennyson (Main writer JMS obviously did too).

    And when he left he’s obviously the one that left the ‘note’ found by the next captain as mentioned here: (Your segment above)

    Never watched it. It fails as drama, science fiction and is hopelessly derivative.

  3. Berial says:

    Sheldon is almost always wrong about SCI-FI.
