And no, I don’t have final pictures. We decided to strip the wallpaper from the dining room, which the kitchen now opens into, and I can’t get good pictures without having some of the dining room in view. But I know a few people have waited for pictures, and they really, really are coming.
I’ve finally found time to start working in the yard and garden a little. So far, it’s been mostly weeding and dividing some perennials that had grown out of their allotted space – achillea, crocosmia, daylilies for the most part. And I’m moving chrysanthemums from the large pots and raised bed they’ve inhabited, to flower beds around the yard. Time for new stuff in those pots. Gardening season is well underway here, with temperatures in the 80s and the last frost weeks ago. Fortunately, Mississippi has a long growing season (too long, sometimes – tomatoes in November gets boring), so I have plenty of time. After all, Good Friday is still three days away!
